Euro VI is an EU regulation that establishes an emission standard for vehicles. With this regulation, diesel vehicles are required to be just as clean as gasoline-powered vehicles through lower emissions of soot particles and nitrogen oxides. As of 1 September 2014, diesel vehicles may no longer exceed 80mg nitrogen oxide emissions (compared to the 60mg/km for petrol vehicles). This replaces the previous limit of 180 mg per kilometre. As of 1 January 2015, all new vehicles must comply with the Euro VI limits.
Code 95 is a guideline for the (additional) training of skilled professional drivers. It is a European regulation that, as of 2009, every professional driver must comply with. Drivers are also required to take 35 hours of additional training every five years. All additional training courses that the drivers at Cuppen Logistics participate in are certified by the CCV (Contract Commissie Vakbekwaamheid = Contract Committee on Professional Competence).
